Our Values

At Wild in Scotland, my missions is for everyone to feel safe and confident outdoors to have adventures, fun and to be able to share their love of the wild. To achieve this I realised that creating a community that shares in our values was where to start. Wild in Scotland uses our values to guide and direct our actions to help support us achieve our mission.

Our values are community, inclusivity, adventure and responsibility and we kindly ask that all our customers and community demonstrate this in their behaviour.

Our values are community, inclusivity, adventure and responsibility.  Each of our values plays a vital role in how we can achieve our goal of supporting everyone to feel safe and confident in the outdoors. I kindly ask that all our customers and community demonstrate these values in their behaviour. Our principles outline the behaviours that will support and uphold our values.

Community: We believe in fostering a supportive and connected community where every participant feels welcomed and part of our Wild in Scotland family. We encourage sharing of experiences, knowledge, and mutual respect among our participants.

Inclusivity: We strive to make wild swimming accessible and enjoyable to everyone, regardless of their age, skill level, physical ability, race, gender or sexual orientation. We promote an environment of understanding, acceptance, and mutual respect.

Adventure: We are passionate about inspiring individuals to explore and enjoy the great outdoors. We create safe, exciting and unforgettable experiences, encouraging our participants to embrace the spirit of adventure.

Responsibility: We are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable practices in all our activities. We educate our community on the importance of water safety, environmental conservation, and respect for the natural spaces we are privileged to enjoy.

We expect all Wild in Scotland participants to uphold these values, creating a safe and enjoyable community for all.
